For an Apple TV, see the following from Manage AirPlay settings on your Apple TV - Apple Support

Change the name and room of your Apple TV

Give your Apple TV a name so you can easily identify it when you use AirPlay. Just go to Settings > General > About > and select Name to change it.

To change the name of an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), go to Settings > General > Name.

You can also add Apple TV to a room in the Home app to stream content with AirPlay 2. On your Apple TV, go to Settings > AirPlay > Room and choose a room.
