Network not work

I used migration assistant to transfer network data from my other MacBook to this MacBook Air. But now the network only shows my PC, Wifi router, and this MacBook itself there in network.

  1. My other MacBook isn't shown under Network at all.

2.Also, even though Pc, Wifi router, and this Air are shown under Network, they are not connected at all.

thanks in advance for replies

Connect your Mac to shared computers and servers

Make sure "stealth mode" and all other things preventing communication are disabled. Non-Apple "anti-virus", "firewalls" etc.

I couldn't even connect my mac to share computer/server.

After I typed the smb server address in "Connect to Server," I was told that "there was a problem..... there are no shares available or i am not allow....."

I don't understand; why would my 12" MacBook be able to connect before this MacBook air arrived?? Well, not worked all the time though. problems accessing from time to time
