iCloud backup

So I only have the 5gb iCloud storage plan but my next iCloud backup is over 5 gb. I don’t know if I can delete old backups but my pictures are not on my iCloud anymore because I got to full storage. Is there anything else I can do or am I left to upgrade to the 50gb?

Hey Haylee,

So I hope I can paint you a little picture about iCloud backup.

I understand that you’re currently thinking the way to safe picture on your devices .

Actually Apple did provide user a simple way to do back up by using iCloud. I once lost my phone and I was thankful I have iCloud backup turn on.

However if you don’t want to use iCloud there is many other options you can choose to backup like using iTunes .

You can also choose other 3rd party applications to back up your data and information. But on this you may want to do some research on your own.

But at the end of the day you need storage to safekeeping your data . Choose wisely .

Good luck!
