i cant get into my phone its frozen
my phone keeps getting frozen and not letting me put in my password and when i restart it with the power button that doesn't work either

Does the iPhone demonstrate the same behavior even when it is connected to power and charging? If YES then there may be issues with your battery given the age of your iPhone 6s.
Have you tried following the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If Your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen ? This may help however the hardware on your iPhone 6s will need to be in full working order including your home button.
