I can't receive a new verification code on a new phone

i just change to a new phone number. but i cant received a new verification code on a new phone number using the same device. i also cant add a new trusted device phone numbers. and how do i turn off two factor authentication? is it affect with my new phone number because of the two factor authentication? help me with the solution please. thankyou

You need to change the number on your Apple ID. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime.

Verification code - how to get one and sign in with two-factor authentication.

Can I turn off two-factor authentication after I’ve turned it on?


If you already use two-factor authentication, you can no longer turn it off. Certain features in the latest versions of iOS and macOS require this extra level of security, which is designed to protect your information. If you recently updated your account, however, you can unenroll for a period of two weeks. Just open your enrollment confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings. Keep in mind, this makes your account less secure and means that you can't use features that require a higher level of security.
