2020 MacBook Pro (Catalina) bluetooth does not find Apple bluetooth keyboard or trackpad for linking.

Bluetooth on my 2020 MacBook Pro (Catalina) does not find my Apple bluetooth keyboard or trackpad for linking. I have a) ensured the keyboard and trackpad are not connected to another device, b) ensured they are in range, c) tried resetting PRAM, d) removed potentially corrupted files (com.apple.bluetooth.plist and com.apple.bluetooth.[random letters/numbers], e) reset the Bluetooth module and f) done a factory reset on the devices, both of which are Apple branded.
