How to purchase song downloaded in iTunes to burn disc.

I'm trying to burn a disk of downloaded songs but can't seem to figure out how to purchase them first? I have a MACBOOK. Thanks.

Smwages, follow the procedure in here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204839

Make sure to follow the steps for "buy music," not the ones for "Apple Music."

If your MacBook is running Catalina, the iTunes Store is hidden by default. To reveal it go to Music Preferences > General and enable "Show iTunes Store" per the below clip.
