Grey Screen Pops On Safari

How come when I click a link on a web page to go to another web page, does this type of grey screen pop up??? It’s like a quick view of what’s on the web page. Any way to turn this off??

  Force Quit Safari

“Press these three keys together: Option, Command, and Esc (Escape)

Or choose Force Quit from the Apple () menu in the upper-left corner of your screen.

Select the app in the Force Quit window, then click Force Quit”

Launch Safari holding the shift key down.
