Catalina 10.15.4 restart macbook when in sleep.

Hi guys, I have a MacBook Pro 16" base model. Since I updated to Catalina 10.15.4, this restart problem always pops up when the computer put in to sleep for more than 30min.

Can anyone help me out or has smilier experience caused by any software? Thanks.

Tried this, and doesn't work for me. Have had this issue since I first migrated to a new Mac wth a clean install over a year ago. First thought it might be a "feature" of Mojave that it would do a re-start every night, but now it seems to re-start every time I walk away from my computer for more than a ½ hour or so.

This occurs on a 15 inch MacBook Pro Intel i9 with 32GB of memory, running 10.14.6

Not a critical issue, but it can be annoying.

I was having this same problem on a brand new MacBook Pro (May 2020). Every morning, I was greeted with a "Your computer restarted because of a problem" error message (the details of the error pointed to a kernel panic caused by something in the sleep/wake processes). After a lot of research and reinstalling settings and applications, I gave up and called Apple Support. Eventually they gave me the answer that it was a known issue in Catalina and would be resolved in the next update (10.15.5). They didn't have a temporary work-around and couldn't tell me when the next update would be released ("probably within a month") I decided to return the laptop while I could (just barely within the 14 day return period) and wait for them to fix Catalina.

I see that 10.15.5 has been released. Has that fixed the problem for you?

I also keep having panic restarts. Sometimes even without any proper logs to troubleshoot from. I have digged around on the interwebs and it seems like the USB-C ports are part of the problems out there. That of course doesn't help at all to know, but from my own experience - also from an older 2016 13" MacBook Pro (I have a 2020 13" now) - if I didn't have anything plugged into any port then the crashes wouldn't happen that often. But it kinda defeats the purpose not using the ports...
