iMac restarting because of a problem
Why is my iMac restarting because of a problem? Sometimes it closes and does not restart. At other times it comes back to the login page. Here is the problem report

Thank you. I disconnected my LG external CD reader. I tested shutting the iMac and it did so. I will see if that has externally fixed the problem. The only other hard drive is Apple Time Capsule which is wifi connected.
Reason I was asking,I was thinking maybe the AC power is giving up the ghost & drawing too much USB mA...

Try disconnecting them for a test.
Good, seems it's something on the IOACPI bus affecting AppleSMC, is that LG external CD reader bus driven or does it have AC power?
It has external AC power. The only other thing USB connected is an Epson scanner, also with external AC power.
The only thing showing under USB Is the Bluetooth USB Host Controller with no mA readings
and FaceTime HD Camera (built in) showing Current Available 500 and Current Required 500. Is that a problem?
