duplicate devices shown on iphone

Under settings / Apple ID on my iPhone there are 9 devices listed. Three are duplicate listings for my Win 10 PC.

  1. Why would this occur?
  2. Is there any reason not to simply delete two of the duplicate listings?
  3. Why is this list different from the list of authorized devices listed when I log into / review my account through iTunes?

Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in - Apple Support


You can remove the extra ones...it happens sometimes to many people...see link above to remove...


The list of associated devices is not the same as the list of devices that you're currently signed in to with your Apple ID...See link below...


View and remove your associated devices for purchases - Apple Support
