Problem with Apple tv

hi when I switch on my Apple TV the image of the Apple TV box comes on the screen with a cable indicating to a music symbol and the light o the Apple box itself is flashing constantly

the music symbol mean it needs to be connected by cable to a computer with itunes installed to get restored
