Numbers 10 Update wont Run

Hi there,

Currently I have Numbers ver 5.3 running on a MacOS High Sierra ver. 10.13.6

I've tried to update my Numbers but it wont work. There is no response when I click the update button. Does it has something to do with my MacOS?

Is this latest Numbers only compatible to MacOS 10.14 or later?

Should I update my MacOS to MacOS Catalina? Please advice what to do.

Thank you!

"Is MacOS Catalina stable and reliable? "

Several issues have been reported or are topics of discussion here and in the Pages community. I would suggest a look at discussions in both communities since the Catalina introduction might be in order.

One consideration: Catalina requires 64bit applications and does not support 32bit applications. This may affect any older applications you are using and rely on.

Hi Wesx36,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I see from your post that you are having an issue with updating to the most recent version of Numbers and it is not working. I want to help. If your Mac can be upgraded to macOS Catalina, I would recommend upgrading. Here’s How to update the software on your Mac - Apple Support It’s always a good idea to back up your Mac before updating.

After you have upgraded the macOS, you can then update Numbers.

Hope that helps.

Best Wishes!
