Is Mac OS X 10.4.8 Intel Software?

I came across a couple installation disks for Mac OS X 10.4.8. They look like they are OEM disks that came with an iMac, the labels are light gray. How can I tell if the software is for an Intel Mac or a PowerPC Mac? It does not say on either disk. Apple was transitioning the OS from PPC to Intel around this time.

Check the build number. If there are three numbers after the letter, it's a PowerPC version; if there are four, it's an Intel one or Mac OS X Server Universal Binary.

In either case, they'll only install onto the Mac model they came with.
