Mac air freezing

My macbook air randomly freezes and I have to restart this, Any fix for this?

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.13

Hi Himanshu,


Try performing the three basic tasks first. One at a time until the issue is resolved.

  1. Reset SMC as explained here ➔ How to Reset SMC
  2. Reset NVRAM/PRAM as explained here ➔ How to Reset NVRAM/PRAM
  3. Start your Mac in SAFE Mode as explained here ➔ How to use Safe mode on your Mac and see whether the issue persists. Then shut down you computer normally and restart it again in normal mode.
