Apple ID password

I have received two request that I change my Apple ID password and I am not sure why

Did the popup have a link in it? What were you doing when you got the popup? If you ignore it, do you have any problems using your Apple ID? If you decide you need to change the password, use the steps in the article below. Do not change it by using a link in a popup.

You have given us limited information on your issue, but it could be a scam.


Did you provide any potentially damaging information to anyone? If yes, you'll need to follow up, for example, with a credit card company, Apple, Social Security, your bank, etc.
