I just received a new Iphone and I have not been able to send any text messages to Android users. Do you know why this could be? I tried to go to messages and taking off I message but it did not work.

Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) The agency who issued the SIM to you. Ask them if they have enabled SMS with your plan.

Go to Settings > Messages and make sure SMS and MMS is enabled.
