System update notification but no updates available

Hello there, macbook pro 2017 user. I am running macOS catalina 10.15.4.

I am always having a system notification saying I have an update to be installed.

However, if I am clicking the update notification, the windows says I am runing the latest version of mac os.

Anyone can help me with this issue? thank you.

Delete this file and restart.

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.preferences.softwareupdate.plist

While in the Finder, press "command shift G", paste the above line into the window that opens and press Return. It will highlight the file for deletion.

Try moving com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist and com.apple.systempreferences.plist from the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder to the Trash. Reboot the computer. If this works, then empty the Trash. If it doesn't, then put the two items in the Trash back from whence they came - CTRL- or RIGHT-click on the file and select Put Back from the context menu.
