Remote iPad Operation

Can iPads be operated remotely if you know Apple username and password? My 87 yr old mother has difficulty working the iPad and needs remote assistance. It would be easier just to take control remotely since she doesn’t understand basic commands or app names.

As iOS/iPadOS do not support remote administration, the easiest solution that I have found is to use FaceTime call from a similar device - and then “walk” (or talk on this case) through an issue with the remote party. Whilst you can’t see their screen, you can accompany the remote party through any equivalent sequence of App or Settings as needed.

It’s a poor mans solution, but generally works with reasonable effectiveness.

I hope this suggestion offers some helpful insight into a possible solution.
