Merge or Change Emails on Apple

Somehow I managed to have 2 separate emails connected to my Apple ID acct and ICloud. I do not remember my passwords for the original email so I am over that one. I created a new email months ago and started using that one. NOW most of my apps on my phone will not update or even allow me to open them. It is a huge pain in the A@@ and the dang note keeps telling me to enter password for my OLD email Apple ID which clearly isn’t working anymore. But when I pull up the settings to check it, the new email is shown. What is going on and how can I completely eliminate the old email address so I can get my apps updated? Ive been working on this all day today! Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

Signed Frustrating to the Max, Need my stuff fixed!!

Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

Purchase History Review.

See if you can recover the password. Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.
