apple watch 3 series won't update , watch totally useless now.

typical apple problem. I went to do the latest update for apple watch. update would only load to "installing" then it somehow unpaired the watch. I can't reset the watch because the watch is required to be connected to the internet TO reset. So I am stuck with a watch telling me to pair (which I've done 10 times) only to get to the "installation" screen that won't install.

Yes, my Iphone has the latest OS and yes it IS connected to the net.

this watch worked just fine till this update ! Now some "tech" at apple is telling me i have to spend $229.00 to get the watch fixed.

also typical of apple ....... the only choice i had below was "using apple watch" but that's not really the issue.

Try this;

Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for about 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.Wait a few seconds, then hold down just the side button for about 20 seconds until the “erase all settings” prompt shows up on the screen, then tap on it, then tap on the green check button.
