My Mac freezes completely every time I use one of several apps

Hi there. I started experiencing problems with my MacBook (13-inch, 2017) very recently. Every time I start using the Photos app or sometimes simply when I browse the Internet, the entire Mac freezes after a while and I am unable to do anything at all. Force quitting shortcut does nothing, the only way is to turn the entire thing off by holding the power button. I tried safe booting, repairing the Photos app itself, as well as other methods, but it leads to nowhere. Most of the time it is not possible for me to use the Mac for more than 10 minutes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I don't see much of a problem in the report, which may mean a hidden hardware problem, but...

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?

You can save us asking dozens of questions by submitting a report...

EtreCheck is a simple little app to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac.

Pastebin is a good place to paste the whole report if you capture the URL while there…

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts...

There is also free Malwarebytes which may take care of it...
