when trying to verify my card for apple pay , i am trying to verify it through text message but the number says it’s sending to my old phone number and not the number of my current device

did you go to settings>Wallet & Apple Pay>transaction defaults - phone number?

yes i have , and it’s still saying my old phone number from my old device
did you try to update it?
