Apple ID- Email address change

If I change the email address for my Apple ID will I lose everything purchased with the prior email address? I am not creating a new Apple ID, only changing the email address on my current Apple ID. Thank you!

No, you will retain your data and access to all prior purchases. Note the restrictions in the article.
