My Apple TV 2nd generation will not sign in after 2 step authentication, it keeps going straight back to the original log-in page as soon as i press submit. I have tried at least 5 or 6 times and it's getting very frustrating!
You will likely run into the issue of the time limit for the verification code. To work around that, you can change the order of the steps:
First enter the characters of your password (do not submit yet), then manually request a new verification code, then append that code to the password, and then submit.
