That’s not iTunes - it’s now called Music. Admittedly it’s iTunes-like. Your iMac is current.

Connected iPhone to iMac via usb, opened up iTunes in iMac, but iPhone not recognised. Tried with old SE and iMac recognises this phone and can sync
Old SE iPhone - IOS 13.4.1
Imac - Catalina 10.15.4
Itunes version 1.0.4.104

Yes, I know. I did read the thread above. The computer does not recognize the new iPhone. The article above applies.
