my ipad has built in wifi . Every time i try to update it ,it tells me to connect to wifi but its already built in. i turned on automatic updates but it still tells me to connect to wifi. so why doesnt it just update?

My iPad has built in WiFi Every time I want to update it tells me to connect to WiFi but I’m already connected. It doesn’t let me download to connect for updates. What am I supposed to do to update?

I would try doing a network reset.
