Junk in Mail App

Mail>Preferences>Rules>Add Rule...

I found out what was going on. (The problem isn't mine, it's on my father-in-law's account) He gets his mail through AOL but uses Apple Mail to read and send, etc. It's AOL that's putting it in SPAM, not Apple Mail. And evidently, the Apple Mail rules don't apply to mail in the junk mail filter.

Hi, have you tried making a Rule to move it to the Inbox?

In a Browser login to your WebMail, are they getting marked as Junk there?

I am having the same problem. I created a rule, but the email keeps going to junk. I have moved it to the inbox, and it still keeps going to junk.

Quit Mail & in a Browser login to your WebMail, see if newly arriving ones are marke Junk or spam.

What happens or what goes wrong?

Same here. This began--again--after upgrading my OS to Catalina 10.15.4.
