iPhone Xr 2-line Option?
I noticed that the SE has the ability to be used for two phone numbers. Can the Xr be used similarly?

The iPhone XR has the capability to be used with two cellular lines. This is done via one physical SIM (You already have this installed and working) plus one eSIM. The answer to your question is YES.
