How to Open Files (xls & Word) in Fulscreen or Zoomed

Hello guys,

i just bought my second Macbook (had one ten years ago) and I am struggling with the following:

I

work with a lot of different Excel and Word files in Office. However,

every time I open a .xls file in Finder, it starts Excel in this small

view.

Is there a way to start it autmatically in either Fullscreen or at least the Zoomed Style?

Thanks, any help is appreciated.

When reopening previously opened apps, macOS will respect their previously closed window status. In other words it should work exactly the way you expect.

Unfortunately Microsoft always had their own ideas of how to do things, which generally conflict with the User Interface guidelines Apple provides to developers. Contact Microsoft for support.
