Homekit Automation Shortcut Eve Door Sensor

if i setup a automation

Trigger: Door Sensor Open

Condition: shortcut to wait 10 seconds then if statement door contact sensor state is open.

Action: turn on light.

this never functions

if the automation is

trigger: door sensor open

action turn on light

this works every time.

i have done this exact thing with other accessories and the logic works fine. it seems to be spcifically related to the shortcut functions or the accessory.

has anyone else seen this? how did you resolve it?

I now know what solved this. in the shortcut of the automation if I use a scene it will not function correctly. if I add the devices directly it works fine. 2 of the 3 devices are grouped together so it may be a combination of the grouping and the scene.
