Logic pro-x Key board dysfunction.

Logic pro user's and experts, Could explain this issue. One or more midi-key doesn't work or dysfunctions while playing and recording. What could be the possible reason for this problem? I have checked the preferences and few basic settings I couldn't figure out the solution. But the key-board works in other softwares and platforms.

Most likely a control surfaces problem. Logic's sometimes assigns a control surface that is not 100% compatible with your device.

Upper left Logic Pro X menu, scroll down to Control Surfaces you can look at assignments and see if that key is assigned to a function other than note.

or,,, Rebuild Defaults-quit Logic-reboot computer

or... Go to Preferences/MIDI Controller tab and delete what's listed.

or... bypass all controllers.

This happens to people too often.
