how do i cancel original apple id

You have a new one. You signed in with it here. If you have no other Apple ID except the disabled one, then creating this on has no negative data consequences. But, if you have another that is not disabled, see the data implications below.

Keep in mind that some things available under a first Apple ID will not be available under a new Apple ID. For example, you won’t be able to transfer anything purchased from the App and iTunes Stores to the new ID. And, there are other issues to be addressed.
