Downloading problem

When I start downloading files or video in any application then i left from the app or off my phone that time my downloading files or video pause atomatically.

why it happening if the app’s tab on multitasking?

Hello,thanks for replying me.

this issue happening with “mail” app. I’ve not downloaded any app for mail.i am using apple’s mail app.

And I have to refresh 5-6 times in this app.My Internet or wifi connection is also good.so why it’s happening?

Hey Harsh1711,

Thanks for providing that detail. If you’re downloading a video in the Mail app, it should be coming in as an attachment. Mail may download new messages in the background but if you’re downloading an attachment, you may need to stay within the app itself until the download completes. This may be expected behavior depending on the app. Some apps allow you to download in the background but others do not. Please let us know which apps are exhibiting this behavior.
