Were you able to click on this link ➔ How to reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple Support ? The link has very good step by step instructions. Should you run into a hurdle then please post a response here with the exact error message that you see. Include which step you were on until you saw the error.

You will see that there are three options to start recovery mode on your computer. Choose the option to boot your computer with the COMMAND+R Keys.

Hello Tayla,

It is not the end of the world. Yes your MaBook Pro's Macintosh HD can be populated again with the macOS that was installed on it and then you will need to install all the apps and data. A lot of manual work will go into it. You will need to use macOS Recovery mode to reinstall the macOS.

You can enter and use the ➔ macOS Recovery Mode and reinstall the macOS and that will resolve the boot issue.
