iPhone 11 earbud volume

Earbuds will work great on iPad Air but on my new iPhone 11, I can’t get any earbuds to work properly. They connect easily but I can barely hear anything. I have tried several different brands of earbuds. Please help.

Earbuds not working (iPhone 8+) I was using my earbuds a few hours ago and they were fine, but when I tried to use them again the audio wasn’t working in the right ear. Everything is normal in the settings, I’ve tried restarting my phone, and it seems like there’s no blockage in the port. Do I just need to get new earbuds?

Earbuds not working I have IPhone 7. Recently when I try to use my non Apple earbuds for phone calls I can hear people but they can’t hear me. I use the same earbuds with my computer for video calls and they work fine. When I use the hard earbuds that came with the phone and I can hear people and they can hear me. It is not the little connecter device because I have used other people’s connector and have the same problem. I’m stumped. Please help.. I need the phone more for work and those hard Apple earbuds are terrible. I really don’t want to invest in cordless because when things get back to normal with work I won’t be using my phone hardly at all.

Check the charging port for lint or other debris and see this:
