My airdrop is not sending photos? Is it my problem or is it theirs not receiving?

having trouble sending photos with airdrop. Is it my phone sending or their phone receiving? I’ve reset my network, turned my phone off and on, Bluetooth off and on, cellular etc. I’ve received an airdrop photo. What should I try next? Thank you.
