Vertical and horizontal lines on MacBook Pro 15" 2017 screen

I have a macbook pro 15" 2017 and it started making a lot of noise with the fans and overheating. I turned it off and when I turned it back on it had vertical lines down the middle of the screen, lines along the bottom and a black scratch looking mark over one of my apps at the bottom. I've also noticed that the bottom lines mirror the top of the screen and show the time..percentage of battery left etc.

Hi,

You should contact Apple support or make Genius Bar reservation or take your MacBook Pro to Apple Authorized Service Provider Tobe examined it since I think it may be hardware related issue.

Hi,

I've already spoken to someone from apple support but they couldn't give me a proper answer as to why it is doing this so though its worth checking to see if anyone else had this issue and what they did to fix it. As it is right now I am unable to travel to get it looked at so was hoping it might be something I could reset or solve at home especially as I am now out of work so money is an issue.
