back up most recent back up

So I backed up my phone last night, because my phone has been acting up so I did it just in case. so the next day my phone is spazzing and locks me out so I have to restore my phone but it backs up to a back up I did in 2019. I need it to back up to my most recent back up I had so much information and pictures. my iCloud still says it has the 5gb of space saved from that back up but I can't seem to get it to back up to my phone now that I restored it. can someone please help??

When presented with the option to restore from a backup, did you see the backup you created last night or wasn't that backup available?
