Final Cut Pro

Hello if i am already done with a project and i want to move the project to an external storage to free space, should i bring the original clips in the external storage too? by the way when i started i just dragged the videos from my desktop to the timeline

Select the library in FCP. In the inspector go to library properties. Click modify properties. Make sure media is set to In Library. Set Motion Templates to In Library. Use File>Delete Generated Library Files. Delete all render files, proxies, and optimized media. Use File>Consolidate Library. Close the application. In the Finder move the library to whatever storage location you want.
