my MacBook Pro keyboard doesn’t appear to be working on the login screen. The trackpad works, and the power button works, but I can’t log in. This started today with no other symptoms.

Thank you. I followed the instructions, but there is no change. I’m still unable to type my password. Any other thoughts?
Use an external USB keyboard until you can get the laptop repaired.
