For me, the iPad would be completely useless. If you can return the iPad for refund, I would do that. ebay is not a great place to buy an iPad.

If money is an issue, consider buying a refurbished iPad directly from Apple, which will come with current software, a one year warranty and will be much more reliable. It depends on your iPad model (Settings>General>About>Model Number).

If it can't support iOS versions beyond 10.3.X, most likely it's an iPad 4th Generation.

That's is an iPad 4, 16gB, Black, and, because of hardware incompatibility, it cannot support iOS versions beyond 10.3.x, sorry.

No idea about that. eBay is not an Apple Authorized Reseller.

The only thing I'm sure of is that MD510B/A is an iPad 4th generation, 16GB, Black, and it can't be updated.
