MacBook Air Sleeps when I don't want it to

I have a MacBook Air 2020 running macOS 10.15.16. When trying to back up my hard drive to iCloud Drive for the first time, computer goes to sleep if it is left alone for a relatively short while (somewhere between 30-60 minutes). The Energy Saving no longer has a slider to adjust idle time before sleep, just "idle time before display turns off" which I have set to Never. Also, screen saver is set to Never, and "prevent computer from sleeping when display is off" also set to Never. Is there way to adjust idle time before sleep, or is this important feature now lacking?
