My 2019 MacBook Pro is connected via Bluetooth to my Ipad Air (3d Gen), but my ipad is not mirroring in Airplay. I've gone through all the steps and everything is set up as instructed, but it still is not showing up. Any advice?

yes. We figured it out. We had to go into the MacBook Finder and “trust” the iPad.

Have you updated to the latest version on both devices?
Have you tried opening the "Display" section in the system preferences app and selecting the iPad for the AirPlay feature?

Although my iPad is connected, it doesn’t show up as an option for Airplay anywhere, including in the system preferences/display. I tried connecting the two via usb, too, and nothing.
