out of nowhere, my iphone xs shut off while i was in the middle of using it. there has been no water damage, battery damage, or anything at all to cause this. i have tried a hard reset and and connecting it to my itunes store on my computer but nothing works. the phone screen is not responsive and is not receiving text messages or calls. how shall i go about this?

May be the battery cables got cut some how. Visit the nearest apple service centre.
Thank you for your reply, but this is u helpful when our Apple store (Friendly Center, Greensboro NC) is CLOSED. The closest Apple store is over 1 hour away. Now what do we do?
