Locked iPhone reset without power button

I have an old iPhone 7 that I forgot the password to and it deactivated. The power button is also broken but the home button does work. I have assistant touch as well. I would like to put the phone in recovery mode how can I do this?

Hello, Victorialopez0211.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

From reading your post, you have an iPhone 7 that is disabled and you want to know if you can restore it with a broke power button. Without a power button you may not be able to get the iPhone in recovery mode, see this article for the steps: If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled

"Make sure that your iPhone isn't connected to your computer.

Press and hold the Side button until the power off slider appears. Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone. Then connect your iPhone to your computer while holding the Volume down button. Keep holding the Volume down button until you see the recovery mode screen".

If you're able to get the iPhone powered off, and powered on, then you should be able to get recovery mode started and continue with the steps from the article. Otherwise you may need to look into getting that button repaired. You can contact Apple Support or set up an appointment with a nearby service center for repair options: Find Locations

Cheers!
