Volume on HomePod

I'm always connecting my music from my iPhone to my HomePod. The first song always seems a bit loud. Regardless of turning the volume down or not, the second song always drops in volume. I then have to turn the volume up. What's causing this and is there a fix?

Siri is always louder than needs to be. Same for when I set an alarm. Is there a way to adjust those volumes as I do not see any setting that allow such to be done?

For your first question, try resetting HomePod to see if this fixes it Reset HomePod - Apple Support or if it’s for only when you Airplay from your iPhone, closing the music app & restarting your phone may address that. Or update the software, if needed.

As to the other, no you cannot customize the volume for alarms, except when using Automations for music alarms.
