my ipad pro 9.7 doesn't have a "send to" link for PDFs or ibooks or anything else. My allowable actions are "Copy" and "Add to Reading List." Please help me learn how to save these PDFs I have.

If you were to scroll all the way to the right of the applications list within the share sheet (where you are currently looking) > Tap More > From here you can access all supported applications such as Books.
