MacBook Sound Not Working

So I just got my MacBook Pro 16", and I connected my AirPods Pro to it, but after I stopped using them, the speakers don't play any sound. No video, no mp3, no test noises or notifications, nothing. I checked to make sure the output was set to built-in speakers, it's not muted (that would just be embarrassing) and the volume slider is of course up where I should be able to hear at least SOMEthing. What's going on and how do I fix it?
