From reading your post, it appears you are unable to hear callers on your iPhone XR, correct? We're here to help you take a look in to that!

Does the phone calls work on speaker phone? If some debris is covering the receiver, this can have the affect of low volume. Here is an article to follow on steps to help resolve this issue:
